The Duke parades for the fans after winning the Hong Kong Mile

This was the third time to run in the Hong Kong Mile for The Duke. He finished third in 2004 and second in 2005. Winning jockey Olivier Doleuze said, "It is a special day, special story and special horse. The pace was perfect for me and in the straight I made a move and got a slight lead and that is what won the race for me because Douglas (Whyte) was coming very hard at the finish."
