Kicking off the Breeders' Crown action on Saturday night was the $516,800 2-Year- Old Filly Trot. 7-1 shot Passionate Glide rallied from fifth early on to drive by 2-1 second choice Macaria Hanover in deep stretch for the 2 1/4 length win in 1:55.4. It was 3/4 length back to 8-5 favorite Pure Ivory in third. Winning trainer Jimmy Takter said, I think she must have come from dead last, all the way on the outside. I don't even see her in the picture. She's raced well in every start. In the Oakville elimination she hooked wheels, but that's the only bad thing that has happened with her. She's been first or second in every other start. How bad is that?"
