Driver Dave Miller sent Idyllic to the lead soon after the start and was stalked by Pretty Katherine through a quarter in 27 4/5. Pretty Katherine took over the lead down the backstretch getting the half in 56 2/5 and 3/4 in 1:24 1/5. The favorite led to the 1/8 pole but Idyllic stayed with her the whole way and fought back in the final 1/16 to win by 3/4 length in 1:53. It was another 1/4 length back to 21-1 Strike at Attitude third.
