2006 Kentucky Farm Tour

Purge finished his racing career in late November, winning the Grade 1 Cigar Mile by 3 3/4 lengths, earning a 111 Beyer. As a 3-year-old he won the Jim Dandy and Peter Pan Stakes, and was second in the Rebel at Oaklawn. His 6 victories from 15 starts were by a combined margin of almost 40 lengths. The son of Pulpit retired to Vinery Kentucky and will stand for a $20,000.
