Brazilian-bred Leroidesanimaux rattled off eight straight wins, six in graded stakes, including three Grade 1 events, the Citation Handicap at Hollywood, the Frank E. Kilroe Mile at Santa Anita, and the Atto Mile at Woodbine. As well, he set a course record in Saratoga's Grade 2 Fourstardave Handicap. The Bobby Frankel trainee finished his career with a close second place finish in the Breeders' Cup Mile, but his record should be enough to earn him the Eclipse as champion turf horse for 2005. With these credentials, he will stand for $30,000 at his new home, Stonewall Farm, and is expected to shuttle to his native Brazil for the southern hemisphere breeding season. The massive chestnut enjoyed the attention, posing for the cameras and behaving himself the whole time he was out in the courtyard.
