Cindy Pierson Dulay
Saint Liam retired from racing after winning the 2005 Breeders' Cup Classic, which likely sealed up the Eclipse Awards for Older Male and Horse of the Year. He also won the Donn Handicap, the Stephen Foster Handicap, and the Woodward Stakes, with career earnings of over $4.4 million. He stands for a fee of $50,000 at his new home of Lane's End Farm. He still looks to be in racing shape, despite being off the track for almost 3 months, and drew the most visitors during the farm's open house, remaining outside for about two hours before being brought back into his stall. He was very interested in his surroundings, perhaps equating the Lane's End show ring with a winner's circle. Click here for more photos of the Lane's End stallions.
