The son of Elusive Quality out of I'll Get Along captivated the nation with his undefeated streak going into the 2004 Triple Crown series. He won the Kentucky Derby by 2 3/4 lengths and then topped that with a record 11 1/2 length win in the Preakness, only to lose to Birdstone in the Belmont by just a length. Despite the loss and an early retirement due to injury as the fifth richest American thoroughbred in history, he continues to be a fan favorite. His first crop included a $500,000 weanling in Japan and the sale-topper in the October sale at Ocala.
