Because of the muddy track, only a few owners bothered to come out to greet or lead their horse to the winner's circle. Only Frank Stronach, owner of Distaff winner Ginger Punch, came all the way out and lead his horse in. He was trying to hold his pants up at first, but finally decided that with the money he won on the race he can get some new pants and gave up.
