Turf entrant Grand Couturier jogged two miles on the main track with trainer Bobby Ribaudo aboard. Ribaudo said, "We've got a good post position down inside (three) so we can save ground. It just gives you one less thing to worry about. He's been on all kinds of turf courses. He's handled some soft and firm. He's pretty versatile."
