It was overcast on Thursday morning at Santa Anita Park, but the track was quite busy. Several of the European horses got out of quarantine and all were out on the track early before the first renovation break. Also the east cost horses who were delayed by Hurricane Sandy finally got here on Wednesday afternoon, and they all wanted to get a trip over the track this morning. Since the first 6 Breeders' Cup races are tomorrow afternoon, this was the last chance for a final tune-up since the track will close for training early on Friday.

Mucho Macho Man galloped 1 1/2 mile under Nick Petro Jr. before visiting the starting gate. "He just floats (over the track)," said trainer Kathy Ritvo, who accompanied Mucho Macho Man on the flight from Newburgh, N.Y. "He was very professional today. Everything's fine. It's been unbelievable. He's just a great horse. He's a nice horse to be around. He's got a nice personality"
