Milwaukee Appeal galloped 1 1/4 miles on the main track a day before she goes in the Ladies Classic. Trainer Scott Fairlie said, "We got her around safely and soundly. I’m very happy with the way she’s taken to the dirt here. I thought she would like this surface, so I’m very
confident now. This is going to be a very good and competitive race. All
the main players seem to be in fine form." The 2009 Woodbine Oaks winner will attempt to be the second Canadian-bred to win the Ladies Classic after Dance Smartly in 1991, also at Churchill Downs.
