3) Breeders' Cup: Thoroughbred Racing's Championship Day by Jay Privman This book is massive at 10"x12", with a padded leather binding under the gorgeous slick finished dust cover. Picking it up, you just think quality. It is 208 pages long and contains over 300 beautiful color photos plus an appendix with stats on all the runnings through 1999 and an index of all the horses discussed and pictured. While not every winner has a picture, you will find most of your favorites pictured in large-size vibrant color photos, some spreading across two pages.
