The Classic was expected to help clear up the championship picture for both the handicap division and Horse of the Year but instead it just muddled it even more than before. None of the top selections ran well and the top four finishers went off at odds of 19-1, 26-1, 75-1, and 63-1. Big mutuel payoff here!
