Entries were taken and post positions drawn Wednesday for the 2002 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Arlington Park. Only the Mile and the Juvenile have a full field of 14 this year while both the Turf and the Distaff only have a field of 8. As expected, Azeri is the heavy favorite for the Distaff with morningline odds of 6-5. Other big favorites include Storm Flag Flying at 1-1 in the

The final fields in post position order are linked to below and include profiles for all horses. The profile for each horse include morning line odds, jockey assignment, photos, past performances, pedigree, and more. Head2Head matchups for the new wager offered this year are listed in each race before the horse profiles.
The eight race series will be televised live on NBC from 1:00 to 6:00pm Eastern time and the audio portion will also be broadcast live on the internet via Real Audio. The races will also be broadcast in England by the BBC, Channel 4 and At the Races.
