Million day had lots of excitement going on. Here are a few photos of the scenery and people at Arlington.
The festivities started off with a joust and sword fight by two of the nights from Medieval Times.
Local bands performed as part of the opening ceremonies.

Racing officials from around the world were on hand for the opening ceremonies.
Even the outrider's horses got in the spirit with braids and decorations.

Kids clamor for jockey Michael Kinane to give them his goggles after winning the Secretariat Stakes. It is a tradition at Arlington for the winning jockey to give out a pair of goggles to the kids on each side of the exit to the tunnel after each race.
