Turfway's signature Kentucky Derby prep (formerly known as the Jim Beam Stakes) looks to be an excellent race this year. The purse was increased to $750,000 by the new sponsor, Jim McIngvale's Galleryfurniture.com, which attracted 174 nominees including some hot Kentucky Derby prospects. The race will be televised on ABC at 2:00pm EST and will also be viewable online via Real Video. A field of 8 was entered and post positions drawn today:
