Eclipse Award Winners for 2001

The finalists for the 2001 Eclipse Awards were announced today by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association. Winners for each category will be named at the Eclipse Awards dinner on February 18th in Miami Beach, Florida. The Horse of the Year category had one surprise when 2-year-old Johannesburg was announced as a finalist in addition to the expected Point Given and Tiznow.

Below is a list of all the finalists in alphabetical order plus a poll for each category where you can vote for who you think should win. Results from the pre-finalist voting are also linked (where available) under each category to compare to the actual finalist lists along with links to past performances, photos, and stats where available.
