A closer look at race 8

Polish Sky made his career debut last month at Gulfstream, finishing a respectable fourth against a decent group of sophomores. The 3-year-old son of Brocco proved he could run first time out by defeating eight runners despite being caught wide the entire race. He was unfortunate to draw post position No. 12 that day, as he ran well but couldn’t overcome the ground he lost because of the poor post.

Today, Polish Sky takes a small slide down the claiming ladder to face an easier field, but more importantly, he drew a favorable post. The Mohammed Moubarak-trainee shows three solid workouts since his last effort, which should have him ready to run in here. Watch for him to be close to the early pace, settling into an ideal stalking position. Then when the field turns for home, he will blow past his rivals up front. Let's play Polish Sky to win and then play some exacta and trifecta tickets by using Sky Ride and Victorious Recall.
