Note: Second in the Sam F. Davis Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs in his 2004 debut followed up with a 3rd place finish in the Florida Derby. Rallied from 7th to win the Blue Grass over what was probably the best field assembled yet for a Derby prep. Seemed to fit the Kentucky Derby winner profile exactly, but the slop and losing both front shoes cost him any chance and he finished 5th. Had to be scratched from the Preakness the day before due to an abcess in his right front hoof that had him lame. Not likely for the Belmont according to Zito due to missing too much training.
