Note: Impressive winner of the Lane's End Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland in only his third start came out of that race with a bucked shin. Won his 2004 debut, an allowance at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 4, by 7 lengths. Came up a bit short in the Swale Stakes, losing by a head to Wynn Dot Comma. Nick Zito announced on 4/2 that he will not go to the Kentucky Derby due to an illness that has set his training too far behind. So much for dodging the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Jinx by skipping the race.
