Champion race mare Zenyatta has been retired as of November 17, 2010. She ended her career with a record of 19 wins and one second in 20 lifetime starts and total earnings of $7,304,580. She will go to Lane's End Farm in Kentucky but no plans for breeding her have been announced.

The Great Zenyatta!! Enjoy your well deserved retirement and don’t act too frisky or Jerry Moss will decide to race you again! I agree to make it with only those true studs out there! I was hoping that you would retire at Darly, but Lane’s End is fine.
