2008 Beldame and Vosburgh Stakes

Cocoa Beach (outside) won the 2008 Beldame stakes by half a length in the slop at Belmont Park over defending champ Ginger Punch. Also on the card, Black Seventeen was a big upset in the Vosburgh Stakes, winning by a head over Fabulous Strike while favorite Lucky Island was sixth. Get the results, charts, and photos here.
