2008 Bay Shore Stakes and Excelsior Handicap

There were two Grade 3 stakes on the Wood Memorial undercard. In the Bay Shore Stakes (G3), also for the 3-year-olds, favorite J Be K (left) drew off to win by 5 lengths over Gattopardo and Jockey Ridge. The Excelsior Handicap (G3) for the older horses was a wire-to-wire upset win for Temporary Saint at odds of 11-1. Favorite Nite Light was second with Angliana third.
