Heavy favorite Curlin (right) ran away to win by 7 3/4 lengths in the 2008 Dubai World Cup over Asiatic Boy and Well Armed. Also on the card, Sun Classique beat the boys to win the Dubai Sheema Classic with favorite Viva Pataca second, and longshot Jay Peg rallied on the far outside to win the Dubai Duty Free over Darjina.
