The Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire, England, marks the end of the winter National Hunt racing season. It is where the top jumps horses from England and Ireland meet up, with thousands of fans coming to cheer on their favorites over the 4 day meet. I really enjoyed watching the race. As I had actually bothered to learn something about the horses’ background beforehand this time, I enjoyed it much more. It also helps if you watch the National with people who are interested and who have bets on. I actually backed Comply or Die because I had been watching James Bond that week and thought it was an appropriate title!
