I really enjoyed watching the race. As I had actually bothered to learn something about the horses’ background beforehand this time, I enjoyed it much more. It also helps if you watch the National with people who are interested and who have bets on. I actually backed Comply or Die because I had been watching James Bond that week and thought it was an appropriate title!
