2005 Preakness Alibi Breakfast

The connections of the 14 Preakness entrants and members of the racing media gathered for breakfast Thursday morning in the Clubhouse for this Pimlico tradition from the 1930's. Trainers each took their turn predicting how their entrants would perform on Saturday. As well, the Maryland Jockey Club gave out several awards including a Special Award of Merit to jockey Jerry Bailey.
