Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo Handicaps

The special President's Day card at Santa Anita included two graded races, the Santa Maria for the older fillies and mare and the San Luis Obispo for the turf horses. Star Parade went wire-to-wire to win the Santa Maria over Bare Necessities while Puerto Banus came out on top of a five horse photo finish in the San Luis Obispo (left).
