Frankel passed away on Monday at his home in Pacific Palisades from complications of lymphoma, which had returned 6 months ago after he beat it 10 years prior. He was a top trainer for over 40 years and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1995. He not only won 5 Eclipse Awards as top trainer but trained 10 horses who won 11 individual Eclipse Awards. Final entries closed Tuesday and post positions were drawn for all 14 Breeders' Cup races at Santa Anita. Zenyatta will go against the boys in the Classic on Saturday and is the 5-2 morning line favorite. Careless Jewel is the 2-1 morning line favorite in the Ladies Classic on Friday.
